Faith Conference Abuja · Velodrome, National Stadium, Abuja · 17 to 18 April 2026

Sixteen LED panels in a velodrome

A two-day conference on a six-zone LED stage: a 12 by 4 metre centre, two portrait sides, two flying screens and a 15 metre header, 96 square metres mapped as one design, with dual-switcher ISO recording and a multi-WAN stream. The build fought us and the screens ran every session.

Design

A concert-stage layout drawn before a single panel was priced.

The brief was sixteen 3 by 2 metre panels. We laid them out as six zones with depth rather than one flat wall: a 12 by 4 metre centre for IMAG and worship backgrounds, portrait sides for the speaker and lyrics, two flying screens tilted toward the room for the logo and scripture, and a thin 15 metre header for branding and gradients. Every zone had its pixel ratio and its content role written down before the vendor was booked.

Content

Graphics mapped to the zones, not to a generic 16:9.

Welcome and speaker graphics were built for the centre and sides at their real ratios, so nothing was stretched on the day.

Build

Empty velodrome, then the lighting rig overnight, then the panels. And one flying screen that arrived as a fixed cross.

The vendor delivered a different processor map from the one we had signed off, and one flying screen was built as a cross instead of two tilted panels. The slice map was rebuilt live against what was actually in the room, and the screens ran content through every session.

On air

Two days, three sessions, every one recorded in ISO and streamed.

The venue broadband saturated whenever the room filled, and the failover router could only swap between two choked links. That weekend is the reason NorthFront now brings its own bonded uplink to every stream.
